Kate Bosworth played the supportive fiancée last night as she slipped into an Oscar de la Renta dress to attend the premiere of husband-to-be Michael Polish's latest film, Big Sur.
Meanwhile, Zoe Saldana is shaping up to be the busiest actress of the week as she hits the promotional trail for her new film Star Trek Into Darkness. An outing in new-season Calvin Klein Collection - when she tested out spring's penchant for cropped tops - was swiftly followed by a premiere look courtesy of Balmain.

100 Best Bags
17/04/2013WHAT is love in the fashion world, if not that staple of everyday accessories: the bag?
Season in, season out, we are presented with can't-live-without companions - envelope clutches, slouchy hobos, structured totes, neon backpacks, perspex box bags, origami-inspired clutches, the list goes on.
But of course - no justification needed - one is not nearly enough. While a classic tote or shoulder bag is an obligatory part of every woman's daily workwear ensemble, come the twilight hour we look to leave our holdalls at home and opt for something different, whether it be chicer, sleeker or just outright eclectic to suit our mood.
Luckily for us, the options are endless, however, here we bring to you the styles that have caught our eye and made it onto our new-season wish lists - needless to say, they are very, very long.
This Week In Pictures – 02/04/13
06/04/2013THE Easter weekend brought out famous faces around the world as a rare glimpse of sunshine brought the first signs of spring to many. From the Obama family on their annual Easter egg hunt in the White House gardens - joined by their dog Bo - to the British royal family arriving at church in Windsor, the mood was celebratory.
Elsewhere, Vogue favourites Emma Watson and Jourdan Dunn made their debuts on the cover of GQ and the Jonathan Ross show respectively, while Francisco Costa recruited his star model friends to showcase his new charity T-shirt. Tom Hardy met a real-life Batman villain on the streets of New York, as Harvey Nichols unveiled a novel window display concept.
Style File - Beyoncé
03/04/2013SUPERSTAR singer, one half of music's most powerful couple, fashion mogul and mother to baby Blue Ivy Carter - Beyoncé has never strayed far from the spotlight since bursting onto the scene in her teens, but her style has come a long way since those days as a Destiny's Child.
Coming to prominence as one third of the world-conquering girl group, the trio were famous for their matching ensembles in identical colours, usually with a good dose of bedazzling embellishment. Since going solo her style has become more streamlined and she calls on the likes of Lanvin and Roberto Cavalli for sleek red carpet gowns, saving her most high-octane looks for the stage.
As a mother to her baby girl, Beyoncé took a break from the limelight - but little Blue proved to have impeccable style credentials, making her public debut in the arms of her mother and wrapped in an Alice Temperley scarf.
She made her British Vogue cover debut gracing the May 2013 issue wearing a Jonathan Saunders cropped top and sequin pencil skirt.
Summer in the Shade
31/03/2013DARKNESS has fallen this season, shifting the palette back to black. There's a new softness here, however, as billowing layers and sheer fabrics bring lightness to the shadows.
One would think a monochrome palette may result in a simple, somewhat mundane aesthetic but not here. Complex textures and couture detailing bring rich flavour to this new way of seeing - at Stella McCartney delicate broderie anglaise took a sinister twist, while at Dolce & Gabbana gowns were all adorned with delicate daisies. For braver dressers, dare-to-bare in Versace's sheer lace panels or Roberto Cavalli's thigh-high split gowns.
VALENTINO
29/03/2013SNOW WHITE, Red Riding Hood and Alice in Wonderland - they were all on the Valentino catwalk this afternoon for a collection that was a fairytale told in dresses.
Designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli took inspiration from Flemish paintings, extracting a sense of purity and colour to create a collection that combined all the Valentino elegance we know and love while adding just the right amount of contemporaneity. Which has been this pair's success where others have failed - at this house and others beyond. Paris is the land of fashion-house-hopping and those that live to tell the tale become quite the thing of legend themselves.
Here we had naivety and fragility: short black shifts with lace embroidered collars, cuffs and yokes; coats and capes all-enveloping and hooded like religious robes - there were those that came in white fur dotted with black spots for a Narnia Snow Queen moment.
There came that signature elegantly waisted Valentino silhouette for dresses that were romantic and beaded and those that were lace, those with tapestry and embroidery and those that were a wash of watercolour sparkling pleats. They were blue, they were white, they were red. There were shirt and collar details to sedate that romance and extravagance and bring down to earth these beautiful gowns - part of the pair's inspiration point had been to glorify everyday life and what a glory it would be in any one of these dresses. How would one even begin to choose which to wear?
But there were more short shifts and modern scalloped shapes to add to this tale too - blocks of colour (red to green and pink to blue) for natty and youthful little numbers.
Necklines came off the shoulder, on the shoulder, buttoned up or high - there were variations on each and every look to make that decision about which you would own if you could just that bit harder.
Still entirely in tune with the romance of Valentino, this collection was one that showed that fairytales, in somewhat of a contradiction, aren't just for adults. There was magic for all ages here.
